Show me your Collection: April Ann

Featuring: HARRY POTTER

2001. My niece April was 11 years old, same age as Harry Potter. Before the movie was shown, April already became a Harry Potter fanatic. But i tell you, living on the same house with a Potter crazy makes you more crazier. ask me.

here goes the fanatic's fantasy...lol! 

(since april is now in manila, she gave me the authority to search over her dusty collection, here's what i found)

she got a letter (kuno) from Deputy Headmistress Minerva McGonagall of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, just like Harry Potter when he turned 11 years old.

as a freshman wizard in Hogwarts, one needs a wand. so here is April's wand, this used to have a box and wrapped in a fabric just like the ones in Mr. Ollivander's Wand Shop.

after the wand, one needs a broomstick too. Harry got Nimbus 2000, while April got this:

okay, back to the muggle's world (muggle means a person from a non-magical family):

The real Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe sent her this. Can you believe it? This was from years and years ago, look at the stains. this is a real picture by the way, with his signature. take a look at the sender's penmanship, so ugly. (hahaha) but i think this is authentic, there's a formal note attached with postage stamp and all.

she completed all the seven Harry Potter Books.

plastered a collage of posters in her bedroom walls, and some more collections waiting to be plastered...ugh! this used to be my bedroom, she vacated before leaving for manila and mabe will soon use this room. so i am hoping for the posters to vanish na (please).

a week from now, the movie based from the last book will come out. the final chapter of harry, or is it really the end of harry potter?

i think NOT. Harry Potter will live, but how in the wizard world will i know? i'll ask april, she got tickets already for the premiere of the Part 2 of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on July 14.

Who doesn't love promos?

this is my best travel must-have. i  get disappointed if Watsons ran out of stock (especially on my size), so whenever i saw it on the shelves again, i would get a pack or two for my future travels. last month i discovered that it was included in Watsons Buy One and Take One for One Peso promo, so i hoarded! haha

the other day i went to Watsons again looking for some affordable everyday body lotion i can use. i found this refreshing looking brand, and i like the packaging as well PLUS it was under  Watsons Buy One and Take One for One Peso promo. great find!

another great finds below however, are not from Watsons (hehe). i got them in singapore last month in McDonalds for FREE. we ate in Mcdo thrice so i have six of these freebies all in all!

right now, these 'can' glasses are available in the Philippines but you have to pay extra, P25 i  think :((

Dear neighbor,

I heard your side comment. You were amused of my being awake at 11PM, obviously you can have a view of my bedroom lights from your kitchen window despite the concrete division that we have. 

Probably you hit the sack at 11PM.

I just have some clarification to make my dear neighbor.Yes I am wide awake before you head to sleep, AND I am still awake until you wake up at 5AM to cook your breakfast.

This may sound weird to you but you have to thanked me for being your tanod the whole evening.

Oh by the way neighbor, can you trim your mango tree?
