Rainbow + Rain + Sunset

On our way home from the supermarket...

I felt the raindrops in my arms...

Mabe saw the rainbow first...

The Rainbow from the left...and Sunset in our right...

So much drama from the skies...the colors were just amazingly beautiful.

Happy Sunday everyone!

Cake.A'holic

Finally stepped into Cake A'holic and tried Chicken Teriyaki paired with Cookies and Cream flavored shake. I am no food expert, I just love to eat and try new, pocket friendly places this city has to offer.

Arrived there with my blogger friends Rems of Brunch&More and Owen of MyShutterLife waiting for me.

The food photos from my phone, honestly, were not appealing. I promise to bring my camera the next time I visit.

Rotaract Fun Run: Dalagan Para sa Kabataan

The Rotaract Club of Bacolod North is inviting you to join the Rotaract fun run to help fund the club's projects for malnourished kids in Bacolod.

The club has been searching for barangay every year to adopt with the recommendation from the City Health Office. And for 4 years now the club has been to several areas in the city.

The club do not just feed the kids that they've chosen, they also educate. They hold lectures and learning sessions every time for the parents about nutrition/common sickness/first aid. At the end of the year, the club facilitates a surgical and dental mission for the kids in the chosen barangay.

Registration available at the Run Club, Robinson's Central Citywalk.

Here's the Marathon Route:

i'm back

from the cave.

yesterday.

started the day with breakfast in mcdonald's after dropping mabe off to school.

yes. rice.

lunch with erly. haven't seen her for almost a month and yes, rice again. ugh!

dessert.

it was a crazy sunny-rainy afternoon, just like how crazy i am for eating rice twice in one day!

since yesterday was my father's check-up schedule. as always, dealing with overpriced drugstores was just simply nerve wracking plus dealing with errors and mistakes with drugstore salespersons. nevermind. not sulking worthy.

i'm just glad i'm back. sane again.

live no more

When the person you expect to understand, no matter how crazy you can become...

When the person that influenced you to changed for the better, don't believe in you anymore...

When the person you rely on to take care of you, tells you to go...

What's the point in living?

What's the point of existing....

live no more.

Dealing with smelly paper bills

Have you ever received a paper money like this? I'm sure we all did. Now, can you imagine how paper bills like this smells like? ugh!

This might sound petty to some, but for us women, for mothers like me, taking good care of our wallet is important. A purse full of money is the best ever (of course!) but a purse full of smelly money is another.

My friend Sue taught me this. So, here are some tips to avoid soiling our wallet with smells we can't even describe of:

1. Put a folded paper in between the paper bills inside your wallet. You can stash bills that are fresh from ATM Machines or from the teller.

2. For paper money from supermarkets, jeepneys, taxis, local vendors (especially from the wet section!), put it in a separate envelope.

Simple.

Smell-free wallet.

Happy Thursday!

3D Scrabble

Mabe got this last Christmas, a gift from her friend Misaki. She just remembered to play with it a few days ago...and of course, you know who the playmate is.

Boardgames never fails to bring great bonding moments. This one is a modern version of Scrabble.

Happy Wednesday everyone!
