i know sheba from way way back...my first kundirana concert was with sheba, we were 13 years old then. i can vividly remember what i wore in that concert, a t-shirt tucked in a brown shorts with matching sling bag (yeah, i tucked my shirt in! i used to have waist you know!)..but sheba and i were not classmates nor schoolmates, she went to an exclusive school for girls..while me, i was in an exclusive school for boys (haha!)...we lived near each other that's why.
sheba's a nurse based in chicago..and she's getting married this friday. for the past few days since her arrival here in the city, i tagged along with sheba as she goes about with the wedding details.
honestly, i haven't seen sheba for more than 10 years! yeah, i think so...but nevertheless, sheba and i are kindred spirits.
she's tying the knot with this cool guy owen...he's from northern negros, went to an exclusive school for boys (oh! we're schoolmates owen!) hahaha
i wrote about this couple because every wedding i saw, even in television, i cry..(though i know the reason why, i won't tell you of course)...so every wedding of friends that i'm invited to, i really treat it as something cordial. i felt special too...a wedding is a momentous and once in a lifetime celebration, being invited to witness such event is something you cannot just take for granted.
i will always be there for you sheba...we may not be the bestest friends ever but i'm just here sheb...
Goodluck! see you tomorrow...
