rain rain rain

while blogging about my love for the rain last tuesday, sad to say that the northern part of negros was flooding...with all honesty, my heart goes out to the people whose houses were swept away, and those families who were left homeless...i hope the local government units have done their part in serving the people in hard times like these.

the flooded part of negros, specifically silay, talisay, eb magalona, and victorias were part of my saga (yeah i called it saga) last year, before the election...but since this is a happy/'moving on' blog i'm only telling you the funny moments...funny to me and to my partners in crime...namely: panu the bodyguard, george the driver, hmmm ok, monching the other bodyguard, i will include you na lg miskan i don't feel like including you..lol.

but the pictures below cannot tell the whole funny stuff that i want to blog because the rest of the  pictures were stored in my calculator phone that bugged down after election, so sayang the pictures :(( but i will try to tell  you the story behind the shots...

below is the mode of transportation in one area of silay..it's called 'bagoneta', it uses the old railway tracks..it can accommodate 4-5 people...i had fun riding plus i got to drive it after.

while waiting for the chief to finish his campaign talk with the locals of this area in silay, i found a n ugly abandoned doll...it's my version of baby alive who've gone poor. haha..

after leaving baby alive area, same day, next stop is another place for a campaigin sortie, since no other place to rest but under this mango tree, but i had to share it with her. yes, her..and she's preggy i think.

in a small boat in eb magalona..went to the islet at the back, home for more than a hundred people whose daily income is from producing dried fish.

i took this photo, so imagine me in my reebok running shoes, jeans, sling bag, campaign stuff in left hand, calculator phone in the other, stepping in super slippery stones, and dipped in this shallow river in talisay..don't ask me what's this photo for..

'ohh, there's more ladies over there', water splashing as i stepped and catch up...while i saw panu and george on the dry side of the river, laughing at me.

this was in the shoreline area of eb magalona. those were the times that i hated sea sands. i had a hard time walking fast, so heavy on my feet, sands getting inside my sneakers.

in one area in talisay proper, smart dog huh..he came from the market, bought some stuff for his master, he haggles prices too! joke.

blurry shot taken at the old hospital in patag, silay...its near midnight. yes, midnight. still on a campaign sortie, now with some youth groups having a team building whatever. i swear, the place was a perfect horror movie location. we left around 1am, reached talisay around 2am, we had dinner at a 24-hour chicken/pork inasal serving outlet...was home around past 3am, had to get up again at 6am for the 8am campaign sortie..uggghhhh!

i hate it, i have a lot of stories and i wasn't able to recover my photos...not to mention the time i slipped and fell on my back in a public laundry area, i short, 'labadahan', in silay...think of mossy and wet laundry area, me on my back, can't even get up all by myself...aaahhhh!

but that was all over now. i don't know why i was there with the chief either..but everything's good for me now. i am loving it.

i hope the areas i've been to in the north recovers, i hope the people recovers..

because i'm still loving rains, and cold weather :)
