Vacation Hang over: Instagr.am-ed

Baguio vacation, sad to say, was 'bitin'. We arrived Friday afternoon and left early Monday morning, so we basically had two whole days to visit my grandmother and the rest of our family. sigh.

Mabe's Baguio experience wasn't enough, but the good news is, my cousin will have a church wedding in July next year, so we're definitely going back. yey.

Here comes June...here comes RAIN!

Here comes June, welcomed by a heavy pouring rain this morning. I've been sleeping like a log lately and with this kind of weather, bed is my bestfriend.

I saw Mabe enjoying the rain outside so I grabbed my camera and capture the moment, then all of a sudden, rain stopped. It's an off and on kind of heavy rains. The weather update says the whole weekend will be like this. 

How I wish the weather on wednesday gets better. I don't want a bumpy plane ride with Mabe but I don't mind a rainy and wet vacation in Baguio. I love Baguio more when its raining, it reminds me of my stay there in mid-90s, studying for a semester.

Outside, the skies above is still heavy and gloomy, some parts of the country is under signal number 1. Tropical Storm Ambo, now looming around the country is estimated to leave on the 4th of June. 

Okay, now I want to go back in bed!

A bedweather evening everyone :)

yesterday morning i got a text message from my aunt about lola conching (my paternal grandmother in baguio city), she's now confined in the ICU of Pines City Doctor's Hospital in Baguio. 

she's 93 years old, eats veggies a lot, hard-working, and a hard-headed market stall owner (she's been told not to tend her market goods anymore but...).

then today i saw my cousin posted some pictures. heart-breaking.

thanks God she's okay now and might check out tomorrow according to my cousin.

it is very hard for families like us to live miles away from each other, i know some of you can relate.

be strong lola, i'll be there this november :)
