Lenten Tradition: {Good Friday} Silent Procession

To be honest, this is my second time to join the procession in my 33 years of existence. I am thankful to JITB who encouraged me to practice the tradition every year.

I regret bringing my Canon 1000D plus extra lens and Yongnuo Flash since I ended up using my Nikon S6200 point and shoot because I wanted to shoot discreetly while I went along with the procession.

How about you, how's your Lent going?

Morning Walk: Day 12 {Good Friday}

my walking buddies will go back to the US by the end of the month :(

Purple Kamote

young joggers! go go go

Day 12. Good Friday.

Today is the commemoration of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Morning walk makes me very reflective.

Still, the 'losing weight' factor remains at the back of everything. Amazing views, capturing photos, peaceful mind and heart comes first.

Good morning everyone!

Morning Walk: Day 11 {Maundy Thursday}

Maxie!!!

Photo of Puto. lol!

Day 11. Maundy Thursday.

We were supposed to be heading in the highlands, but we decided to be there tomorrow or probably on Saturday.

Meanwhile, morning walk continues. The rays of sunlight is getting along with my reflective mood today.

Good morning everyone!

Keep safe.

Morning Walk: Day 10

Day 10.

Started the walk earlier than the usual 5:45AM, I was a bit worried that I might step into something undesirable. Lol!

Sun is up and shining. Cuaresma heat, as the old folks would say. Yesterday was really sticky and scorching hot even inside the mall. I hope today's weather is going to be a lot more milder coz I'll be in the supermarket later for some supplies we're bringing.

Blogging might take a lenten holiday as well. We will spend the rest of the lent in the highlands where internet signal is really a pain. Consider it my version of sacrifice: NO INTERNET...but, I will be in Twitter because fortunately there is a cellphone signal so I can still tweet :)

Have a safe and peaceful Holy Week!

Lenten Tradition: House Visit of Apostles

Amidst the modern and advanced world we have now, let us participate and support Lenten traditions like this. Let us open our doors and pray with them. Traditions are here only if we keep it upheld each time for the future generations to continue.

Some of us may spend the rest of our Holy Week away from home, having a vacation with our friends and families, but Catholics as we are, I know we still observe and commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is the time to imbibe peace and reflect on things in our lives.

Have a peaceful lent everyone!
