Christmas 2011

Our home smelled like berries. I love it, must be the candles we light every night.

THIS Christmas is precious for me and for the rest of my family. 

Tonight, we all celebrate the birth of Jesus and for us, THIS Christmas is also the celebration of my father's healing and survival.

We did not fuss over preparing a feast for tonight's noche buena, in fact we did not prepare any special food at all. A simple dinner would do.

It was said that Christmas in the heart puts Christmas in the air. 

True. 

Let us fill our hearts with love and compassion to make each day Christmas Day...

and to fill the air with the Christmas spirit.

Rainy Sunday

After ballet rehearsals, rain still pouring hard, a perfect time for a hot mushroom soup.

Mabe and I were offered to buy a post card, proceeds will be donated to the UN's World Food Programme (WFP) to help feed the children in the areas of Mindanao.

Tree's done...

uhmmm...not really done done. i still need two more rolls of red ribbon. 

it's been a heavy and stressful week for us here at home...and seeing our Christmas tree all lighted up felt so good.

for us, this year's going to be different.

Christmas

33 days to go.

i can feel the Christmas air. windy and yet sunny. rain here and there.

my 2nd full-time Christmas with my family.

my 2nd Christmas without republic.

and my Christmas Tree's not yet done.

right now i don't have a Christmas gift list.

i am just waiting for each day to pass.

yet i have some wishes marked in my mind.

time to make that list. time to move. time to face the season.

Christmas Tree-he-he

Last month I decided not to have a Christmas Tree set up this year. This was my Black Tree last season.

Then last week my aunt gave me a 7 Ft. Green Tree. ugh! Since I am not the type who would spend money on decors, this morning cheapskate me went thrifting for christmas decors.

What I scored was not enough for the 7-Ft. tree, I need to look for some more in thrift stores. I make use of old decors to create this one.

I started my day early this morning, with all the decor-finding craziness and decorating a huge tree, i.am.tired.com, I better doze off.

Wish Wish Wish

I want this Moshi Moshi handset for my Samsung Galaxy Tab (i've been meaning to get one a few months ago). My friends knew very well that if they call me through my Smart number, I will never ever answer. It's because I have to look for my earphone and all, such a hassle. Moshi Moshi handset will solve it all. This is NOT so expensive, I hope Dimensione still have this model.

The Double Vision watch from Swatch x Jeremy Scott. I doubt if this model is still available. Launched last October 3, 2011 and a Limited Edition, I am hopeful though.

I am a simple person with simple wishes. 

Just two and I'm good. (hahaha)

ugh! this 100 days countdown before Christmas reminds me of the most important thing that i MUST do...

Passport Renewal. if mabe and i really wanted to spend Christmas with JITB, then i must renew it now.
