Sick

I hate getting sick.

I've been feeling ill since Wednesday, must be the crazy rain and heat and rain the past few days. I remember the heavy rain last Monday, I got all wet and just dried up while waiting for Mabe.

This Friday, I was completely ill, hardly out of bed but I managed to buy some medicines for myself (who else will anyway).

While in bed and nothing else to do, I discovered Viki, a free tv Apps with mostly Korean and British shows. Guess what, I finished Boys Over Flowers and My Princess! All in Korean but there's an English translation below.

I feel a bit better now. Tomorrow I want to go back to the gym and continue my work out.

I don't want to get sick again.

Diet Saga Part I

As I am writing this post, my stomach is slowly getting into normalcy..lol. Last night was one of the worst. Sleeping was so difficult that I felt like sleeping in the bathroom would be a better idea. It was really bad. My stomach was overly upset and aching. It must be the japanese food I got in the supermarket...and NOT my diet regimen.

I have been on this experimental diet scheme for the past three weeks. Combining a liquid food supplement and less food intake, I can say that I am indeed losing some fats and bulges especially in the waistline area to the back part of the body and the arms.

I don't want to fully reveal this diet scheme yet because I am still in the process of shedding that fats. Lol!

In every losing weight saga, I have learned that pills or any drugs can't totally help you without controlling the food you're eating and of course exercise. Right now, I am not back in my morning walk ritual but hopefully I will get into the walking track again. Food is another story.

I eat a complete meal three times a day (sometimes two, especially on weekends when I wake up late). In each meal, I am trying to avoid rice so I am having Roti Paratha intead (at least in one meal). The food supplement I'm taking kills my cravings for in between snacks. Really. I used to eat junk foods or whatever I can find inside the fridge when watching tv, surfing the net, or even when I'm reading, now I don't and right after each meal, I will have a mug of hot green tea. (Sounds like not me, huh)

Anyway, writing this entry took me a while to finish because I still keep on coming back to the bathroom. Lol!

Happy 4th of July everyone!

sick

Not really that sick, but the usual colds and sore throat most people catch these days...might be the weather. (*sneezing terribly)

I would always remember taking Berocca in times like this because I hate popping meds for colds that gives me drowsiness.

All i wanted right now is to curl up in bed and sleep and hope this colds and headache and scratchy throat gone tomorrow. (*sniff)

Goodnight everyone!

Home in wheels.

No amount of words can express how we felt today. My father is finally home (in wheels). Not totally healed, but well recovered from the extremely dangerous thing that happened last Monday that lead us to the Emergency Room and confinement in the hospital.

Thank you to all our relatives and friends who reached out, expressed heartfelt sympathy and for praying for us. To those who stayed on our side, helped us emotionally and spiritually, I am deeply touched and grateful.

somebody is comfortably seated in lolo's wheels.

Thank you!!

Not Good.

Not good.

My father's back in the hospital.

I want to cry but I can't.

Not good.

It's like I'm being swallowed by the vastness of the sky above.

Two Weeks Rest and Isolation

We went to see Mabe's pediatrician this afternoon.

Two weeks rest and isolation + anti-viral meds and creams...

Yeah, two weeks and she's been inside the room for 3 days and look at what she's been up to...fish cut out stuck in our mirror...her own version of a pop-up book...a dictionary, she goggled the meaning of chicken pox and wrote it down..so goodluck to the two weeks.

Good thing mabe got a few blisters. Another good thing is, the doctor says she can dance on friday, so yey! for that.

color coding

despite the colors that i tried to put in, still the whole thing is depressing.

i took charge in organizing the medication pills of my father.

in the next few weeks, my father will go back to his small farm. staying there will keep him comfortable, with the cool weather and lots of greens plus the sight of his fightingcocks will definitely relax him.

i hope my color coding will give my mother and my brother an easy time in giving him the pills.

Not feeling good.

I got colds and it's been a long time since I had this. I don't feel good.

Yesterday I went to three cemeteries despite the on and off crazy rain. I brought a jacket for Mabe while I haven't got any for myself. We have a huge black umbrella for the three of us (Mabe, me, and my niece Frances), still I got all wet.

When I was still working I tried my best and managed not to be sick, because whether you are sick or not, you need to be there in the office after all. Oh, I have some sick moment stories:

I remember having German Measles and was forced to work. I told my pregnant co-worker not to report because I am working and I have German Measles that will endanger her pregnancy and her baby. Imagine me, my face all red with dots, with a fever, and a headache because of the fever. Some said I could die not resting in bed with that kind of sickness, but I didn't and still alive.

Another one, I remember I woke up with my nose bleeding and got a call from the office forcing me to report because of something. I told my co-workers that my NOSE IS BLEEDING damn it! (I don't understand why my nose bled actually, some says i might have a fever inside or maybe its because of stress)

Okay, now I can feel a splitting headache because of the colds. I don't know what meds to take, right now I'm just loading myself with lots of water. Later I'll grab some Berocca Vitamins, because Berocca always works for me.

* I haven't renewed my FLU VACCINE, ugh! maybe this is what i get from not taking a flu shot again :(

Wish me well everyone!
