Rain today

Rain today was good. It poured at the right time and made me and mabe dry.

I love rain. I always do. Only if I am in the comfort of my own bed with a tv remote in my hands or a good book to read.

Drenched in rain and wading the flooded streets of the city is an awful situation I wouldn't want to experience.

Home is where I want to be. Home where flowers bloom after each rain. Home where water puddles are clear as a mirror. I can almost see and touch the skies.

Rain made me feel good today.

Here comes June...here comes RAIN!

Here comes June, welcomed by a heavy pouring rain this morning. I've been sleeping like a log lately and with this kind of weather, bed is my bestfriend.

I saw Mabe enjoying the rain outside so I grabbed my camera and capture the moment, then all of a sudden, rain stopped. It's an off and on kind of heavy rains. The weather update says the whole weekend will be like this.

How I wish the weather on wednesday gets better. I don't want a bumpy plane ride with Mabe but I don't mind a rainy and wet vacation in Baguio. I love Baguio more when its raining, it reminds me of my stay there in mid-90s, studying for a semester.

Outside, the skies above is still heavy and gloomy, some parts of the country is under signal number 1. Tropical Storm Ambo, now looming around the country is estimated to leave on the 4th of June.

Okay, now I want to go back in bed!

A bedweather evening everyone :)

Gray Morning

Everything looked gray this morning. Thank God my mood right now is far from grayish.

Rain seemed eager since last night until this very minute, I wasn't able to do my morning walk.

I wonder how the city looked like. I hope everything is okay.

A rainy morning to all, let's keep ourselves dry :))

Rainbow + Rain + Sunset

On our way home from the supermarket...

I felt the raindrops in my arms...

Mabe saw the rainbow first...

The Rainbow from the left...and Sunset in our right...

So much drama from the skies...the colors were just amazingly beautiful.

Happy Sunday everyone!

A Rainbow Reality

Sometimes I just love Tinkerbell's theory that fairies helps make rainbows....less complicated, just work on your imagination...and that's it.

but reality is...

that this ray of white light is a mixture of colors that when it passes through a prism, will create a band of colors we call roygvib.

and...

we got no umbrella and jacket this afternoon, so after this rainbow appeared, it rained.

oh well...a rainbow reality.

Rainy Sunday

After ballet rehearsals, rain still pouring hard, a perfect time for a hot mushroom soup.

Mabe and I were offered to buy a post card, proceeds will be donated to the UN's World Food Programme (WFP) to help feed the children in the areas of Mindanao.

Let us share our blessings....

Happy Rainy Sunday everyone!

Sunday Ballet

The schedule of exams, school tutor and ballet mixed up yesterday, so ballet was re-scheduled today, a Sunday.

Crazy weather, as mabe calls it. The sun's up this morning then all of a sudden rain pours. gah!

Despite the changes in schedule and the crazy weather, we're okay. My nails are okay, back to a lighter shade.

How's your Sunday?

How's your day?

ours was spent in bed and watched this:

Phineas and Ferb: The Movie. this two boys never fails to amaze me. mabe is an avid fan. i love that the creator of this tv cartoon series makes sentimental soundtracks all the time. mabe memorized it all. if there's one tv animated series i would recommend, Phineas and Ferb is the one. it's full of good and moral lessons, again good soundtrack, no non-sense plots,  and promotes love for family and friends.

after the movie, mabe found another thing to keep her busy.

loyalty award much?

with Tropical Depression Ramon still giving us gusty winds and heavy rains...

how's you day like?

NO CLASS

NO CLASS TODAY.

Mabe's supposed to bring some flowers (including this) in school today, an offering for Mama Mary.  Fortunately, these blooms will remain untouched but i hope they can survive the storm.

Negros is now under typhoon signal No. 1, to know other areas affected click here.

Today, i am also set to renew our Philippine Passport at the DFA Satellite Office in East Block. Now with mabe home and still dozing off in bed, i don't feel like going out, knowing that by noontime typhoon Ramon is expected to landfall. I just want to stay home safe and dry.

Anyway, just keep your emergency kits within your reach.

Stay safe everyone!
