Held in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Flores de Mayo is a one month festival that ends with a Santacruzan. A religio-historical beauty pageant held in many
cities, towns, and even in small communities throughout the Philippines
during the month of May. One of the most colourful aspects of this
festival, the pageant depicts the finding of the Holy Cross by Queen Helena, mother of Constantine the Great.

My daughter for the first time, experienced and saw what Santacruzan was all about here in our small community.
What a wonderful experience for Mabe and I, and that ends the month of May for us.
