i just wrote a short note to mabe's teacher.
a male classmate is throwing rude and bad words to her, and i think it would be best to inform the teacher first rather than confront the parents of the boy.
how can an 8 or 9-year old boy afford to say words like 'wala ka pulos' and 'indi ka bagay sa lcc' (i won't translate the harsh words in english, sorry, i'm really pissed right now)
sad to say my daughter is really bothered as i am.
i remember a classmate of mabe in pre-school, the child told one of her classmate this, while holding a pencil: 'lut hangon ta ka karun' (lut hang is a deep word in our local dialect, meaning 'kill'). i was scared for the whole class upon hearing the story, fortunately the child did not finish her pre-school in that school and i don't know what happened to her after that.
before i say what kind of children are they...i should rather say, What Kind of Parents Do They Have?
scary.

i know a bully, she's 12 but looks 16. i believe it has something to do with how she is raised. i told my daughter not to mingle with her anymore.
yes, we should tell our kids NOT to mingle with bullies. really scary.
