i have been a public utility vehicle commuter my whole life. we have car, a junk looking one but i don't personally use it, my brother does. so everyday of my life is a jeepney carnival-like ride.
yesterday however, i experienced a unique co-passenger. this guy had a guitar and he's singing songs using the local dialect. i don't think he's blind but he got a 'manager' beside him. a lady with a huge eyewear embellished with gold metallic stickers (you know, the one bikers put in their bikes for safety).
so instead of radio music, we have a live acoustic music! hehe (the two jejemon teenagers in front of me were quite annoyed). i like it, but i did told the lady 'manager' to lit off her cigarette. she was blowing her cigarretes freely and i was the one inhaling all of it! i was three seats away from them.
buhay jeepney is fun, sometimes. yeah i can say sometimes, because most of the time it can really get into your nerves. but riding a jeepney taught me a lot of things about life, about people, about myself, about a bag slasher's saga, about patience, about safety...
all in all, about LIVING and CO-EXISTING.
so let's ride on!
