Yesterday afternoon, the day after the 6.9 earthquake in Negros, it rained.
I remember the 1990 earthquake in baguio, stories from my cousins, after the killer quake, it rained too.
Watching the poodles of water in the yard, seeing dews from bottles, droplets of water from above...made me wonder and reflect on some thoughts...
When mother nature taps our back, reminds us to keep grounded, gives us lessons we should learn from...we really shoud stop and listen.
We are helpless in disasters like earthquakes. Unlike storms, no one can predict earthquakes.
Rain for me symbolizes renewal...cleansing...a new day. (seriously, why am i so deep now?)
Happy wednesday everyone!
*Note: Mabe just arrived. The School Admin declared No Classes starting tomorrow and friday due to continues aftershocks. Thank God. Thank you to the nuns for deciding on that, such a relief for parents.
