warning: this is a crazy post.
i started playing last year, then a couple of months ago i stopped because hubby was home and we took some vacations. now i'm so behind!
anyway, let's go take this crazy tour of my cityville or better known to me as my Republic, the highly urbanized and well-planned city...lol! (way way better than my real city)
Welcome to the City Hall, as soon as you step in the city hall grounds everything is within your reach. The emergency clinic is just beside the police station and the courthouse as well. The post office stood on the side, along with the clerk's office, city works, the city library, the wedding hall, and the visitor's center. It's a one stop shop for your official and business transactions.
speaking of visitors, you can enter Republic by sea through its two existing Ports, below is the city port for bigger vessels transporting tourists. upon reaching the dock, tourist can visit the oceanarium and drop by the tourist shoppe for some souvenirs.
second is a smaller pier for boats transporting goods. beside the pier is a crab shack for some fresh seafoods and a tavern for some beers.
still on transportation, Republic is now constructing a bridge going to the neighboring island. (ahem, so i am not just building a non-sense flyover thing you know, it's a bridge, a gateway for great opportunities, hehehe)
now, what to buy and where to eat: you can explore the streets of the two commercial areas just across the city hall.
below is the high-end area, more like the greenbelt of republic, where the designer bags and shoes are, the jewelry store and some cosmetics, the deli's and so on...
then here's the area for the masses. this is the place where you can find the supermarket, the hardware store, the noodle house, cinema, and a couple of coffeeshops and food places.
if you want to experience something different, come and explore the chinatown in republic. try the authentic chinese cuisine and see the dragon dance performance.
have a great time exploring the back streets and nooks in republic like the alley below going to the museum.
the vacant lot below will soon be the site for the amusement park of republic.
with all these amazing sites to visit in republic, now the question is where to stay. easy, there are several options:
if you want to experience the countryside, try the bed and breakfast near the exit going out of town and enjoy the view of the farm from your bedroom windows.
if you're not the countryside type, then the hotel suites or some chic apartments and condominiums in the towers at the commercial district below is for you.
or if you're a beach person and loves waking up with the ocean as your view, then rent some beach huts or a room in the coastal house.
living in republic is a good choice and is accessible to everything. the residential area is situated in a location not so far away from the city proper. settle in your chateus and chalets or even just in a comfortable suburban house...
if you have much more, then enjoy the sprawling mansion or some estates near the bay...
just along the residential area is the school where you can send your kids...
without having much worries about pollution or such, the industrial area in republic is located at the far end of the city away from the residents.
so that's it, end of tour. crazy right?
how's your cityville like?
