Warning: the following arachnids needed proper knowledge and guidance in handling, the collector spent months and months of research before acquiring his first scorpion and tarantula.
Scorpions are widely known as venomous creatures, but according to my brief research, of all the 1,752 species only 25 of them have venom that could kill a human being. While Alberto says venom comes in levels, below are Level 1 scorpions, meaning these specie can't kill you.
however, below is a Level 3 Scorpion. This one needs an advance care so please do some rigorous research beforehand.
Al feeds them with roaches and crickets twice a week, very low maintenance, he says. Storage is also very important when one decides to have them as pets. Sufficient ventilation, provide some nooks and corners for them, put some greens and rocks, AND make sure the lids are tight.

Seriously, if one is interested in buying one of this species, some collectors breeds them as well so you can purchase one from them.
