Bacolaodiat Festival will start tomorrow, i know these are lousy photos..hehehe..it was taken last week when the lanterns were newly installed along lacson st...
i'm quiet confused by the dates and schedules in the tarpaulin in the picture. the date says feb. 2-5, 2011, but the schedule of activities starts feb.3-6, 2011. whatevs..
just to give you some facts, Bacolaodiat is a combination of Bacolod and LaoDiat which means 'happy' in fookien..a chinese new year celebration in bacolod city which offers various activities such as dragon dance, lion dance, street parties, fooda and stuff...
which reminds me, i have to call my ever chinese amiga, sue....can i squat in your office to have a bit of an aerial view of the dragon dance??
this was last year with luna...i remember we had dinner at sweet greens, agnes' birthday celebration..then we thought the tiger in the photos looked like rats..lol!

it depends on the schedule of dragon dance near your building...hehehe
